My first attempt at astrophotography

I would like the picture better without the powerlines.

Yeah it was just test shots. In the coming months I intend to find a better location to shoot. Just gotta scope out a place during the day as far away from the city lights as I can go without driving all day.

I went to the mountains in north GA and TN a few times. The stars are crazy out there, you can see a big band going across the sky...which is the center of the galaxy.

Yeah that band or cloud is the Milky Way. My goal is to get a picture of it.
