Actually, I'm burnt out on Metallica too. I've listened to them for so long. When I lived in Chicago, the local radio station would have mandatory Metallica at a certain time every night. Now when I hear one of their songs, I change the channel. My ill feelings might have something to do with that junk they call a "new cd". Sorry, but their latest cd sucked balls. The music was alright, but the vocals didn't seem to mix with the instruments.

Mandatory Metallica must be a nationwide thing, cuz they do it here too.

I still enjoy their old stuff (Ride the Lightning etc) but their new stuff has been seriously played out.

How does the fact that Cobain killed himself make a difference in his music?

Ok!
I wasn't sure what you were saying.

I don't think they are overrated though, there's something about the music that most bands don't have. Every single song creates a depressing "atmosphere" and you can feel pain in Cobain's voice. If I would of listened to Nirvana before he killed himself, I would of known it was coming.

grudge? :dunno:

Yes, you are a nub, but that's besides the point. Nirvana was a grunge band.
