Animated (Moving) Spotlight

if you follow the steps exactly as they are written out, it should work for you...

1) type out your text
2) create a new layer and fill this layer with black
3) change this layer's mode to multiply
4) create another new layer, fill it with black
5) select the gradient tool, and use the gradient shown in his pictures
6) with your gradient tool selected, make a small horizontal line at the left
7) press CTRL + I

press CTRL + G

voila, you see letters...i dont know how else to put it

aye the Ctrl + G is the big part there that'll make the letters visible again. Sorry I didn't get with you on this yesterday, I got your IMs but I was asleep >.<

right lads im new hear and ive followed the whole tutorial for making the spotlight now ive got a bit of a problem, when i play the thing to see if it works look what happens<div class='bbimg'>

if you dont see anything well ive played that and stopped it on the letter "L" because it shouldnt show up all my name as it scrolls across, could you tell me how to sort this please,cheers
